About the artist

Hello,

I am Irina
Nesterova

Working under the name Irines. Fifty is a wonderful age — the age of clarity, resolve and the courage to finally pursue what you have always loved. For me, that meant painting.

Art has always been part of my life.

Art has always been part of my life, but my artistic journey truly deepened through dedicated study. Alongside years of self-directed learning, I studied with masterclass teachers, gaining a deeper understanding of composition, colour, and form, and developing a more intentional approach to my work.

In a world where artificial intelligence can generate images in seconds, I believe in the value of paintings created slowly, by hand, with care and presence. My goal is to find my own artistic voice and create work that brings warmth, quiet joy, and lasting emotion.
